So the first thing to pick is the room.
Every show is ticketed to one of two rooms, and the ticketing calendar tells you which one before you pay. Purple is indoors. Green is outdoors. Most people find they have a favourite by the second visit.
Main Showroom · 100 seats
Exposed brick with modern touches, an elevated feel, wireless mics, a full lighting rig and a world class sound system. Two flat screens for when it is hosting something other than a show.
- The larger of the two rooms, indoors and climate controlled
- Seats 90 when it is laid out for a private event
- Table side food and drink throughout the show
Comedy Garden · 40 seats
An open air courtyard with illuminated bistro lighting. Forty seats is close enough that the comic can hear you think, which is exactly what a good one wants.
- Outdoors, and genuinely the reason to come in an Arizona spring
- Seats 45 when it is booked on its own for a private group
- Same kitchen, same servers, same no minimum policy
Booking a party? The whole venue takes 150 guests across both rooms. See private events or email [email protected].
The part nobody tells you
Then the clock does more work than the lineup.
A comedy room is run on minutes. Here is the actual running order of a night at 51 E. Boston St., so you know exactly when to leave the house.
- 60 min before
Box office opens
It opens an hour before the first show of the day, and only on show days. Walk ups are welcome at that window, but the seat you want is the one you bought online.
- 60 min before
Doors, early show
Seating starts a full hour ahead for the early show. If the room ahead of you is running long, doors move with it. That part is not ours to control and we will say so.
- 30 min before
Doors, late show
Late shows seat about thirty minutes out. Arrive before that and the front patio is open, so nobody is standing on Boston Street waiting for a door to unlock.
- On arrival
We seat you, not a chart
Seating is first come, first served, and staff place you deliberately. The room fills from the stage outward, which is why you may be sat with another couple and why the back row still hears every word.
- Start time
Servers work the tables
Food and drink come to you at the table in both showrooms once the lights go down. No queue at a bar, no reason to leave your seat mid set.
- +15 min
Doors close
Fifteen minutes after a show starts the doors shut, because a late walk in across a 100 seat room is the one thing that ruins a set for everybody already in it.
Be aware of resellers.
Tickets bought or sold through StubHub, Craigslist, Vivid Seats, Seat Geek, Cheap Tickets and the rest are refused at the door. Not a policy anyone enjoys enforcing, but a resold ticket to a 100 seat room usually means somebody paid four times the price for a seat that was already sold. Buy from this calendar and it is valid, every time.
At the table
And nobody is counting your drinks.
There is no two drink minimum here, which is unusual enough in this business that it is worth saying out loud. The kitchen leans on local ingredients and the bar runs a real cocktail list, so the evening can be dinner and a show, or a show and a dessert. Your call, not ours.

Since 2022
Because four people built it that way on purpose.
Mic Drop Mania was established in 2022 by Colleen and Dave Specht, Hillary Hutson and Casey Currier. Colleen and Dave opened ImprovMANIA on Main Street in 2016 and ran laughter there every weekend for seven years. Hillary and Casey opened the Comedy Wonderland themed Mic Drop Comedy in San Diego in early 2022. Two concepts, one club, and a subtle Snow White theme running through the whole building.

Pick a night. We will seat you.
Buy from our calendar, park for free, arrive an hour early and take a drink on the front patio. That is the whole thing. If you want the presale before anyone else gets it, get on the list.

Before you come
Anything else worth knowing?
What is the difference between the Main Showroom and the Comedy Garden?
The Main Showroom is the larger indoor room, 100 seats, and it shows up purple on the ticketing calendar. The Comedy Garden is our outdoor room, 40 seats, comedy under the stars, and it shows up green. Both get table side food and drink service.
Where do we park?
There is free parking on site at 51 E. Boston St., directly off Arizona Ave, and two more free parking garages within minutes of the club. Downtown Chandler is walkable, so most people park once for the whole evening.
Is there a two drink minimum?
No. There never has been. Order dinner, order one cocktail, order nothing at all. The ticket is the ticket.
What time should we get there?
Doors open 60 minutes before an early show and roughly 30 minutes before a late one, and they close 15 minutes after the show starts. Doors can shift if the show before yours runs long. Come early and wait on the front patio with a drink.
Can we buy tickets from a resale site?
Please do not. We do not accept tickets bought or sold through third parties, including StubHub, Craigslist, Vivid Seats, Seat Geek and Cheap Tickets, and those purchases are refused at the door. The only valid ticket comes from our own website.
Do you have accessible seating?
Yes. Email [email protected] before the event and we will have it set before you arrive rather than rearranging a full room around you.
